I plugged my Xbox into the slinglink, and it connected like a charm. Also, I haven't been using my slingbox lately, but I wanted to take advantage of Xbox (360) live. This works great with no connection issues. No cables running across the room; just plug this into your slingbox, and it connects to the other slinglink connected to your router. Again, I didn't want to drag ethernet cables across rooms.
I read all the directions and tried to make it work. I'll try again when the technology becomes easier.A real hastle to make work and not all that great when it does. We purchased a slingbox and then this bridge to make it work. I finally just got sick of trying, sent the slingbox and the bridge back for refunds.
Works just as described, reliable. Every single product Sling Media makes I use, this item is no exception. Amazon was really fast on shipping, great job buy Amazon and Sling Media.
I took it home, plugged one into the outlet by my Slingbox, and the other into the outlet by my PC and router, and it worked perfectly--no connection issues.
The box said nothing about being mac compatible.not sure whether it is or isn't but from the research I've done online it seems as though airport express is the best way to link the slingbox if you have a mac+airport network.
